Julien Epaillard unbeatable in Bourg-en-Bresse Grand Prix

In Bourg-en-Bresse, France, jumping at CSI4* level has been going on all weekend. One of the highlights of the weekend was a 1m55 Grand Prix run over two rounds. The best 25 combinations from the first round returned for the all-decisive second round. When you hear France and speed, you know there is one man to beat: Julien Epaillard. So it is also perhaps no surprise that Epaillard drove home all the competition with his Donatella d'Auge (by Jarnac) in a time of 34.28 seconds. He went like a rocket through the second round, resulting in a resounding victory.

Alexandra Francart finished in second place. The French rider was also able to jump a clear round with Betty du Prieure (by Doremi) and clocked off in 35.74 seconds. Benoit Cernin completed the podium. Riding Dynamite du Miral (by Nabab de Reve), he did not come close to the wood and finished in 35.74 seconds.

Completing the top five were Niklaus Rutschi (Cardano CH) and Victor Bettendorf (Simolo de la Roque Z).
