Today the Longines Global Champions Tour of St. Tropez has kicked off. The first round of the LGCL is currently in full swing but before that there was a 5* 1m45 class in two phases, which was also the first class for the 5* riders. A totaal of 23 combinations were able to jump the whole course clear and thanks to Olivier Perreau the victory remained in France.
Olivier Perreau and SBS-mare GL Events Dolce Deceuninck (v. Toulon) were able to set the winning time of 25,06 seconds. That was just a bit faster than the 25,60 seconds of Bertram Allen. He jumped Emmylou (v. Billy Mexico) to the second place.
Jérôme Guéry and the SBS-stallion Eras Ste Hermelle (v. Vargas de Ste Hermelle) finished in third place before Ben Maher and Sentimiento LS La Silla (v. Casall), who ended in fourth place. The top five was completed by Fernando Martinez Sommer and Charlie Harper (v. Comme Il Faut 5).
