The tension was palpable in the jump-off of the 1,50m-high CSI3* Grand Prix of Bonheiden. Twelve combinations reappeared in the ring for the shortened course. The Belgian riders ruled the ranking with Virginie Thonon in first place.

First to go was Thibeau Spits with his ten-year-old partner Bellissimo Z, a daughter of Bamako de Muze. They set a fast time of 38,07 seconds but had one rail down.
Maxime Harmegnies went clear and stopped the clock at 39,48 seconds. With his Easy Boy (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve), he took the lead. The pair stayed ahead of Dieter Vermeiren and eleven-year-old Kingston Town 111 Z (Kashmir van Schuttershof).
Last to go, Virginie Thonon gave it her all and was able to set a faster time than Harmegnies. She sent High Tech Vy de Septon (Del Piero P&B) to a clear 39,11 seconds and won.
Georgia Tame claimed the fourth place with Jeff ten Halven (Toulon), Tiffany Foster piloted Figor (Querly-Elvis) to the fifth position.
