Emanuele Gaudiano and Nikolaj de Music won Thursday's biggest challenge, being on top of the CSI5*-W 1,50m Longines Ranking class of Jump Saudi.
Emanuele Gaudiano once again showed what agility and speed he possesses within his stable. On the back of Walter Lelie's Nikolaj de Music, the Italian could not be faulted and came out on top with a lead of over one and a half seconds. It has been less than a month since the pair won the first individual qualifier of the GCL Finals on the same ground.
Christian Ahlmann chased with the Zangersheide stallion, Otterongo Alpha Z (Darco) by breeder Josef Poets in second place. For Ioli Mytilineou and La Perla vd Heffinck, a BWP mare by Cooper vd Heffinck, the bars also stayed in the scoops which earned them third place.
For his own audience, Khaled Almobty jumped clear aboard Spacecake (Stakkatol) and took fourth place. The fifth and immediately last clear round came from Egor Shchibrik and Emir de Moens Harcour (Urlevent du Bary).
Winners of last week's Grand Prix, Abdullah Alsharbatly and Fiumicino van de Kalevallei (Plot Blue), the former GP-horse of Jur Vrieling, finished seventh.
