Ali Ramsey takes victory in the Desert Welcome Stake

At Thermal the Desert Welcome Stake, the opening class at the CSI3* Worldcup competition. The Canadian Ali Ramsey took the victory in the time of 43.03 seconds with his horse Hermelien vd Hooghoeve (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve). The two won last year the CSI2* in Calgary. Lane Clarke, the rider from New Zealand came on the second place with Balu U (by Baloubet du Rouet) who went through the finish in a time of 44.05 seconds. The Austrian Peter Petschenig completed the top three with 4 faults in the jump-off with a time of 44.35 seconds. He came into the arena with his horse Colour Your Life (by Cassini I). The fourth combination in the jump-off was Harley Brown with Apex (by Grannex) who also got 4 faults and ended their jump-off in 44.50 seconds. The Mexican Daniel Pedraza ended with 1 time fault in his first round which put him in the fifth place with his horse Arc de Triomphe (by For Pleasure). Click here for the results.
