It was an all Germany stage during the opening class at the CSI2* Aachen this morning. In the 1.30m CSI1* Big Tour it was Mario Walter who claimed the victory over Simon Schröder and Frank Wieland. In a race agains the clock it was Walter who finished first with his Quindeur 2 (by Quintender). Riding a smooth round across the 1.30m cours in just 64.84 seconds he stayed ahead of Schr:oder who had saddled Pride 16 (by Pizarro) for the competition. Schröder needed one second longer as his fellow countryman en finished in second. Third price went to Wieland who cleared the cours in 69.98 seconds with his KWPN bred Eloubet 2 (by Zelote VDL). The top 5 was completed by MExican rider Jaime Guerra Piedra on Cinca 3 (by Cassal) and Tobias Thoenes with Cavalino 25 (by Cassini II). Go here to see all the results.
