In the second week of the Baltica Equestrian Summer Tour it was Belgian show jumper Nadege Janssen who took home the victory in the CSI2* - Grand Prix. A difficult course challenged the 47 competitors and several riders, among them yesterdays winner Andrzej Oplatek, had to retire. Nevertheless, a total of 16 horse-rider-combinations completed the 1.45m - course without any penalties and qualified for the big jump off. In the end it was Nadege Janssen who left the field behind by more than one second. Aboard the 11-year-old stallion Rye val de Mai (v. Helios de la Cour II) the Belgian show jumper flew through the finish line in 46:84 seconds thereby securing the €25.000 price money. Luxembourg's Marcel Ewen and BWP - stallion Excenel V (v. Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) were placed second after a clear round in 47:97 seconds. Santiago Diaz Ortega and the Hannover gelding Carlsson (v. Calido I) represented the Columbian colors by finishing 3rd in clear 49:19 seconds. Germany's Jule Lüneburg and her Stakkato daughter Sternenbanner produced another clear round in the jump-off and came in 4th (0 / 49:67), followed by USA's Justin Resnik and Carismo Z (0 / 50:80).
