British on top at Sunshine Tour

British riders topped the podium in this week’s first Big Tour D class held this afternoon at the Sunshine Tour. Chloe Aston and the 11-year-old gelding Amigo T (Padinus x Libero H) won the CSI3* 1.45/1.50 class with a time of 57.21 seconds just 0.36 seconds ahead of of Kerry Brennan riding the 13-year-old Wellington M (Quidam de Revel x Cash). Phillip Miller and Caritiar Z (Chellano Z x Concorde) stopped the clock on 58.66 to take the third place completing an all British line-up. Billy Twomey broke the British dominance finishing fourth on Tin Tin (Cavalier x Animo) for Ireland, while Italy’s Luca Moneta was fifth on Neptune Brecourt (Cumano x Kayack).
