Lamaze wins yet another Ruby et Violette Challenge at WEF

It was again Canadian Eric Lamaze who jumped to victory in Florida. The seventh Ruby et Violette WEF Challenge at te Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, USA, was just won by the former Olympic Champion aboard Fine Lady 5. The pair concluded their ride in 36.30 seconds. A total of $130,000 was to be shared. Lamaze's victory was good for a cheque of $42,900. Todd Minikus and Quality Girl did their best, but had to be satisfied with the second place after a clear round in 37.42 seconds. Lamaze's compatriot, Tiffany Foster and Victor finished third. The top five was completed by Hardin Towell with Lucifer V and Belgium's Filip De Wandel with Gentley. A total of 71 riders took the start, only 29 qualified for the jump-off.
