Christian Ahlmann wins Stuttgart World Cup

After winning the Indoor Masters in Stuttgart, Zangersheide-rider, Christian Ahlmann claimed today's world cup qualifier in Stuttgart as well. Only five horse-rider combinations qualified for the jump-off in this 1.60m class. Swedish Douglas Lindelöw - current number 61 on the FEI list - was the first to set a clear round in the jump-off. Aboard the 12-year-old Casello (by Casall) he set the bar finishing clear in 51.02 seconds. Stopping the clock in 49.78 seconds  the current number 11 in the world, Christian Ahlmann, took home the win. Together with the 13-year-old Codew One Ahlmann returned home with a new Mercedes-Benz car. Douglas Lindelöw followed in a second place while Patrick Stuhlmeyer and Lacan finished third. The top five was completed by Cameron Hanley (Acodte VDL) and France's Patrice Delaveau with Lacrimoso 3 HDC. The latter retired from the jump-off.
