The first class that was scheduled for today, was the class for 5-year old horses. It was the British Lauren Edwards who took the victory. She and Bret Star (f. Breitling LS) jumped a clear round in 58,59 seconds. With this time, she was a clear winner. The second place went to Great-Britain as well. Benjamin Raistrick and Hessel (f. VDL Sheraton) kept the wood untouched and finished in 61,99 seconds. The Belgian rider Maxime Harmegnies completed the topt five with Hantuscha. In the 6-year old class, it was anther Belgian rider who took the victory: Cassandre Malherbe and Fee van het Cauterhof (f. Bamako de Muze) jumped a clear round in 51,66 seconds. With this time they were over 5 (!!) seconds faster than Carron Nicol and Galerius (f. Diamant de Semilly) who ended on second place. The Irish rider Sean Monaghan completed the top three. He took his Goa (f. Padinus) out of the stabble to jump a clear round in 59,14 seconds. The fourth place went to the young Belgian rider Thibault Philippaerts. The younger brother of Nicola and Olivier rode his Ledarco de Septon (f. Darco) in 59,18 seconds to the finish line. Carron Nicol (Moonraker) ended on fifth place. In the class for 7-year olds, it was Louise Whitaker who took home the victory. She jumped her Special Warrior (f. Warrior) to the finish line in 66,48 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. With this time she was over a second faster than Fidel Davila Garcia who ended on second place wigth Altauer de Maeza (f. Centauer Z). The third place won the podium went to Bethanie Knight and Foss (f. Boss). They left the wood untouched and finished in 68,16 seconds. Fidel Segovia (Jack) and Erika Lickhammer (Chico Z) completed the top five.
