The last class at the Costa Del Sol Tour that was scheduled for today was the Longines Ranking Class. 60 combinations entered the show ring for this class ridden against the clock. Eventually it was Richard Howley who took a spectacular win with Chinook (f. Tygo). This combination jumped a clear round in 60,09 seconds, enough to win the class. The second place went to the Dutch rider Doron Kuipers. He rode his Dickyville (f. Quasimodo Z) to the finish line in 62,31 seconds. The third place went to the Swiss rider Edwin Smits. His Rondine Des Souches (f. Airborne Montecillo) left the wood untouched and finished in 66,68 seconds. The fourth place went to Diego Perez Bilbao. With HH Best Guy (f. Balou du Rouet) under the saddle, he jumped a beautiful round in front of his home crowd. The British lady rider Louise Whitaker ended on fifth place with Ruby VIII (f. Balou du Rouet). Earlier today Kuipers already won the 1,40m class. He saddled Diablo F (f. Canturano) for the job. With his time of 50,49 seconds, he was almost two seconds faster than Max Routledge. Routledge and his Holsteiner Carus Royale (f. Cardino) jumped a clear round in 52,18 seconds. Marcel Wolf and Hauntain van 'T Paradijs (f. Quadrillo) took account of the third place. Diego Perez Bilbao (Ti Pol D'Orchis) and Erika Lickhammer (f. Vigo d'Arsouilles) ended respectively on fourth and fifth place.
