Irish rider Cameron Hanley and his superstar 12 year old gelding Antello Z ( x Animo II ) have made a tremendous comeback together after the gelding spent some time with Swiss rider Pius Schwizer. Tonight at the Stuttgart German Masters, the truly masterful pair put on a spectacular performance to beat the world's best in the 1.50m world-ranking class. In the jump-off, Hanley proved hard to beat and finished over a second faster than his nearest rivals German combination Daniel Deusser and the 10 year old gelding First Class van Eeckelghem ( x Balou du Rouet) . Last nights winner, Christian Ahlmann, also from the home country, finished in third place with Cornado II ( x Cornet Obolensky). Also sharing third place was French rider Patrice Delaveau who finished in the same time as Ahlmann with the mare Leontine Ledimar Z HDC ( x Lodefever II).
