This weekend is a busy international weekend in Europe. Besides a few CSI2* shows, a CSI3* show is happening in the German Kiel as well. Today was all about the young talents. The highlight of tonight was a class for 7- and 8-year old horses. In the 'Dallmayr Preis' fences were built up to 1,45 m and it was a speed class, meaning the riders were riding against the clock. The home crowd witnessed a very exciting show... They also saw the complete top seven coloring in their national colors. Herm Lahde jumped Oak Grove's Flickering Star to the victory. This combination cleared the course in 45,02 seconds. With this time, Lahde was a very obvious winner: the second combination finished after 48,71 seconds... More than three seconds slower than Lahde and his Flickering Star. Felix Hassmann and Captain America (Captain Fire) ended on second place. Third place was for the German Theresa Ripke. She and Coranos (Coronas) left the wood untouched and finished in 49,00 seconds. Felix Hassmann didn't only became second, he also ended on fourth place. For this fourth place he saddled Baron WZ (Balou du Rouet). Teike Carstensen rode Constanze 55 to the fifth spot. Click here for the results
