This weekend the British Birmingham hosts the 'Horse of the Year Show'. Yesterday it was up to the national riders to show what they're worth, today the international riders entered the show ring. One of the main classes for today was the 'ReadySupp Cup', a 1,45 meter class ridden in two phases. The victory remained in Great-Britain. It was Joe Whitaker who rode an impressive round with Lavarno. They speeded through the course and finished in 24,70 seconds, a time the other riders weren't able to beat. No other combination came close to this fast time so Whitaker was the clear winner of this class. The French rider Julien Epaillard finished second with Tradition de la Roque (Kannan). They crossed the finish line in 26,00 seconds. Anthony Condon and Balzac (Oklund) completed the podium. They left the wood untouched and crossed the finish line after 27,41 seconds. The rest of the top five was all British. Helen Tredwell rode her gelding Sebastian VII (Unbelievable Darco) to fourth place. Anna Power and Chesterfield Z (Chippendale Z) ended on fifth place.
