CSI Opglabbeek: Victory for Tom Martens

In Belgium, the indoor season kicks of with a CSI2* show in Sentower Park. One of the main classes this evening, was the 'Prize Emmers Horse Shop'. 70 combinations started in this class with two fases against the clock. It was Tom Martens who took home the victory. He and Hillary (Hogwart) were clearly the fastest combination in 29,82 seconds. Martens and Hillary were almost two seconds faster than Adir Abreu Junior. He rode a fast clear round as well with his Chacco-Blue son Chantonus 2. Third place was for the Swiss rider Janika Sprunger. She and her gelding Grand Cooper (Lord Z) crossed the finish line in 31,11 seconds, clearing the course.   Pietroniro and LC Riviere Rouge (Lindberg Des Hayettes) took account of the fourth place. They left the wood untouched and finished in 32,85 seconds. The top five was completed by Jens Wawrauschek and Scoubidou 10. Tonight, one more class is scheduled in Opglabbeek.
