CSI Millstreet: Irish riders know TOP day with victory for Harley in Grand Prix Qualifier

In the beautiful Irish Millstreet, an international show is still going strong. With classes on several arena's, it was a very busy day. The first class scheduled on the main international arena was the Qualifier for 6- and 7-year old horses. 59 combinations entered the show ground, but in the end it were the Irish riders who ruled the show. The victory went to Cian Harrison. He rode the 7-year old gelding Mr Big Cash in 32,32 seconds to the finish line, leaving the wood untouched. Luke Campbell and the 7-year old mare Elamo Lux The Business (f. Lux Z) ended on second place. They jumped a clear round as well and reached the finish line after 32,67 seconds. Francis Connors and Mvl Consun (f. Air Jordan) completed the podium. They cleared the course in 33,92 seconds. Nicholas Connors (Abordable du Talus) and Tim McDonagh (Hollypark Boom Boom) completed the top five. In the 1m30 Silver Tour class, it were the Irish riders who stole the show as well. They took all top five placings. The victory was for Paddy O'Donnell. He and his Hey There Delilah (f. Boherdael Clover) got one penalty for jumping, but they rode a super fast time, resulting in a total of 60,48 seconds (56,48 seconds). Thomas O Brien and his Darco mare Miss Darco did clear the course, but in the end they were slower then O'Donnell, resulting in the second place. Nicholas Connors and Just Jump (f. Master Imp) ended on third place. They cleared the course in 63,63 seconds. Chris Megahey (Fuego Balia) and Mark Duffy (Little Miss Bungowla) completed the top five. The mean class of today: a 1m40 Grand Prix qualifier was once again dominated by Irish riders. Gavin Harley and Doryane Hdh (f. Vleut) took the victory. They jumped a clear round in 42,95 seconds. Joh Floody and Bronson de Reve (f. Hermes de Reve) ended on second place with a time of 44,14 seconds. Cian Harrison jumped a clear round with his 12-year old mare Cailnea (f. Calvaro Z).
