Dutch riders dominate several Grand Prix in Roosendaal

The CSI1* Grand Prix in Roosendaal was dominated by Dutch riders. It was finally Rogier Linssen who took the lead before Maikel van der Vleuten. Linssen rode with Jolie Fleur (by Contact van de Heffinck) a clear jump-off in 31.47 seconds. The combination finished last weekend second in de young horses class in Sentower Park.

Maikel van der Vleuten rode with Bakaton (by Ukato) and stopped the time in 31.57 seconds. He was followed by Leon Thijssen with Tittut (by Tornesch). The combination crossed the finish in 31.72 seconds. The top five was completed with offsprings of Numero Uno. The Swedish rider Niclas Parmler came into the fourth place in 32.04 seconds. He brought his horse VDL Groep Italia into the arena. Bianca Schoenmakers rode E Vincent HDH and stopped the time in 33.59 seconds.

The last competition of the weekend and THE highlight was the CSI2* Grand Prix. At least 16 combinations rode a clear first round, so it promised to be a very exciting jump-off. Just like in the CSI1* Grand Prix, it were the Dutch riders who ruled the show. The victory went to Ruben Romp who jumped a beautiful clear with the 11-year old Zangersheide mare Audi's Teavanata II C Z (f. Treasure). The crossed the finish line after 35,12 seconds. Robert Vos rode an impressive jump-off as well with his 16-year old SWB gelding Carat (f. Cardento). Leopold van Asten and VDL Groep Beauty (f. For Pleasure) completed the top three.

The rest op the top five stayed all in Dutch hands as well. Henk van de Pol and Willink (f. Twister) ended on fourth place. Gerco Schröder and Glock's Lausejunge (f. Ludwig AS) ended on fifth place.
