France colours the first five-star win under the Eiffel Tower

The first CSI5* competition under the shadow of the majestic Eifel Tower was a home win. Harold Boisset topped the CSI5* 1.45m aboard the 9-years-old Chestnut T'Obetty du Domaine (by Kashmir van Schuttershof). The pair stopped the clock in 24.69 seconds, almost two seconds faster as Ireland's Billy Twomey and Ardcolum Duke (by Gypsy Duke). Cedric Angot and the 9-years-old Joyau de Bloye-son, Talent Des Moitiers crossed the finish in 26.45 seconds, good for a third spot. A total of 28 combinations of the 47 starters finished faultless. The top five was completed by Philip Houston (Kannella) and Paris Sellon (Canasta Z) in fourth and fifth place. Today the competition continues with the CSI5* 1.50m and CSI5* Six Bars.
