AlexandreFontanelleBelgian course designer Luc Musette set the course at the International showjumping of Vidauban. With 78 starters it was the French Young Rider Alexandre Fontanelle and Prime Time des Vagues who were victorious in Thursday's 1m40-class. The double clear effort in a time of 29:18 seconds brought the victory with only 0:01 seconds difference on Diego Perez Bilbao (Quercy Diam). French riders Sebastien Duplant (Pegase du Murier) and Laurent Calcus (Pop Star de Pia) followed in third and fourth place. In total 10 pairs had a double clear round in this €4.000 -dotated class. In the 1m35 speed course it was again France who triumphed. Thanks to Aldrick Cheronnet on the back of Elcara van de Heide, after a clear round in 56:39 seconds. Belgian rider Thierry Goffinet and Quipper de la Roche finished in 57:64 seconds, good for the second place. The third place was for Bruno Broucqsault en Quartz de Loisel. © equnews.com photo: M.
