Gilbert De Roock is the All Star Master at jumping Mechelen

Living Legends took over at the Mechelen horse show last night. A total of eight special riders put on their breeches again for this mastersproef. Old world cup winners, Belgian Champions, Puissance specialists, etc. they all took the start again. Rudi Helsen, Stefan Vandewalle, Jean De Grande, Stephan Conter, Johan Lenssens, Kristof Cleeren, Gilbert de Roock and Ludo Philippaerts battled it out. With all eight combinations back at the start in the final jump-off it was an exciting class with Gilbert de Roock aboard Armani des Maraichers (by Kashmir van SChuttershof) onto the win. Two amazing inside turns delivered a final jump-off time of 39.05 seconds. Johan Lenssens was a long time on the lead. In the saddle of Sea Coast Kira (by Emerald van 't Ruytershof) Lenssens stopped the clock at 39.63 seconds. Stefan Vandewalle and Joice van Essene (by Chacco-Blue) completed the stage. Results
