Great-Britain on top in Al Shira'aa Derby

The international show of Hickstead, will always be a big part of the British showjumping history. Today three British riders once again wrote history by taking care of an all-British podium in the Grand Prix of Hickstead. 26 combinations entered the show ground for this CSI4* Derby. Only two of them wrote a clear first round and came back for the jump-off. In that jump-off, it was Nigel Coupe who rode to victory. With Golvers Hill (f. Ricardo Z) under the saddle, he finished in a time of 90,73 seconds, having one penalty for jumping. Harriet Nuttall and A Touch Imperious (f. Touchdown) got a total of eight penalties and finished in 91,06 seconds, securing themselves of the second place. Holy Smith and Quality Old Joker completed the top three and shared their third place with Dermott Lennon and Gelvins Touch (f. Touchdown) and Billy Twomey and Diaghilev (f. Vangelis S).
