In Hardelot, France, there were only 3 classes on today's schedule. The Grand Prix qualifier was the big class of the day, set at a height of 1.50m. After an exciting round it was British Guy Williams who took home the victory aboard Basic (by Berlin). France coloured the second and third place with Alexandra Fancart (Quelstar) and Gilbert Doerr (Quito). The top five was completed by two British horse-rider combinations.
