Hans-Dieter Dreher takes a win in Aachen

Shane CareyHans-Dieter Dreher made his second win of the day in the Preis der AachenMünchener. Riding his loyal Embassy II (Escudo I x Silvio I), Hans was one of the eleven riders moving in the jump-off on to the winning round in this 1.55 class. Coming in as the fourth last rider to go Hans left the brakes by the entrance to the ring and went all in around the shortened eight fence track that opened for a lot of galloping. Luciana Diniz came in as last to go on Winningmood (Darco x Cassini). The stylish rider did all she could to catch Hans-Dieter Dreher, and came flying into the Rolex oxer as well as the last – but still it was not good enough and she had to settle for second with a time of 46:90 seconds. Shane Breen also had a super round as third last to go and ended third on Cos I Can with a time of 47.83 seconds. The Olympic Silver medal winner, Gerco Schröder followed in a fourth place with the Holsteiner New Orleans. Cian O'Connor and Unique completed the top five. to see the results: click here © equnews.com - photo: equpics;be
