Next week the international horse Mecca opens it doors. The fifth leg of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup will be ridden by 8 teams, however only four teams - Germany, France, Ireland and the Netherlands- will compete for points. The other countries - Belgium, Saudi-Arabia, Great-Britain and Switzerland - will participate was they are currently in division 2.
The teams will look like this:
Belgium - Dirk Demeersman, Jerome Guery, Ludo Philippaerts, Nicola Philippaerts and Gregory Wathelet.
France - Eugenie Angot, Patrice Delaveau, Olivier Guillon, Penelope Leprevost and Kevin Staut.
Great Britain - Tina Fletcher, Ben Maher, Nick Skelton, Robert Smith and Guy Williams.
Germany - Christian Ahlmann, Ludger Beerbaum, Daniel Deusser, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Carsten-Otto Nagel.
Ireland - Shane Breen, Shane Carey, Dermott Lennon, Cian O'Connor and Billy Twomey.
Saudi Arabia - Ramzy Al Duhami, HRH Prince Abdulla Al Saud and Prince Faisal Al Shalan.
The Netherlands - Marc Houtzager, Gerco Schröder, Harrie Smolders, Leon Thijssen and Maikel van der Vleuten.
Switzerland - Paul Estermann, Steve Guerdat, Werner Muff, Pius Schwizer and Janika Sprunger.
