At the Global Champions Tour in Wiesbaden the Dutch rider Jeroen Dubbeldam and Utascha SFN (Lux Z x Indoctro) took home the 1m50 class. The GP-qualifier offered an exciting battle without a lot of clear round. The first clear came form Saer Coulter on DON VHP (s; Diamant de Semilly).
Saer opened the jump-off with a rhythmical and safe clear, stopping the clock on 46.66. Next into the huge grass ring in Wiesbaden was Maurice Tebbel who hit the back pole on the oxer midway hard to end on four faults. Laura Renwick and Kavanagh IV (Kannan x Carousel) were super fast at 43:21, but at the expense of one down – while John and the big Maximillian (Carnute x Sioux de Baugy) were clear on a time of 45:72.
Eventually it was Jeroen Dubbeldam and Utascha who put down the fastest time. Leading with 0,88 seconds on the runner-up Katherina Offel and B-Once Z. Kamal Abdullah Bahamdan and his 13-year-old Cezanne ended the Jump-Off in 43:77 seconds, good to secure the third place. John Whitaker (Maximillian) followed in a fourth place while Saer Coulter had to be satisfied with the fifth position.
