Jerome Hurel on top at day Three of Knokke Hippique

On day three of the Knokke Hippique festival, the sun finally appeared. The first five-star class was set at a height of 1.45m. France's Jérome Hurel won the jump-off aboard Warrio (by Emilion) after a clear finish in 26.52 seconds. Belgium's Pieter Devos delivered a top ride with Equipharma Dax Van d'Abdijhoeve (by Desir du Chateau) and stopped the clock in 26.65 seconds, good for a second place. Devos' compatriot, Karel Cox tacked up Cayen vh Hobos (by Cornet Obolensky) followed in a third place. Yesterday's winner, Gudrun Patteet and Sea Coast Calypso vd Zuuthoeve (by Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve), finished fourth. Stephex-stables rider and winner of last year's CSI3* Grand Prix in Beervelde, Jonna Ekberg completed the top five aboard Freestyler (by Lord Z).
