Today the CSI3*-event in Bonheiden, Belgium concluded with a British and at the same time home victory in the Grand Prix. The 'local' based Joe Clee triumphed with the 9-year-old Diamant de Semilly-sire Ultamaro d'Ecaussines. Piergriorgio Bucci and Clever Girl (s. Cassini I) followed in a second place while the stage was completed by Manuel Fernandez Sara (Eliot DWS, s. Winningmood). The Belgian riders were not in a very good shape in the Bonheiden arena. Best Belgian ride was for Cindy Van der Straten and Zingaro (s. Hearbreaker). The pair jumped together four penalty's resulting in a seventh place.
In the 1m35-competition it was the Brasilian Ashford-Farm-rider Marlon Zanottelli and Clintash (s. Clinton) who jumped victoriously over Johny Pals and Urjul v Generhese. Matthew Sampson and Femme Fatale de Muze completed the stage while the Belgian rider Dominique Hendrickx and For Fox Helendlaan Z (s. For Pleasure) landed just outside in the fourth position.
