At the Equuleus Innternational center in China it was Belgium's Jolien Maenhaut who speeded to victory in the 1.45m Grand Prix. Only five combinations qualified for the jump-off. Both Maenhaut and Dutch show jumping rider, Vincent Vermeulen kept the rails untouched in the shortened track. Maenhaut speeded to victory with the Helios de La Cour-son, Pommeau du Heup, finishing in 47.09 seconds. With about two seconds difference, Vincent Vermeulen placed as runner-up aboard the KWPN-sire, Dancing Blue (f. Zirocco Blue VDL). The stage was completed by Muladeli Muladli and Quinta.
