In Paris the CSI2* highlight of the weekend has just been ridden: the CWD Grand Prix. 49 combinations entered the ring for this class, 22 of them managed to jump a clear first round and came back for the all deciding jump-off. In that jump-off it were the French riders who ruled the show. Oliviier Perreau rode his Dolce Deceuninck (f. Toulon) to the finish line in 27,76 seconds and left the wood untouched. Timothee Anciaume took account of the second place with Australia (f. Air Jordan). Australia left the wood untouched and finished in 28,18 seconds. What was very curious in this jump-off, was that the times of the riders were very close to one another. This resulted in a shared third place for Raphael Goehrs and Patrice Delaveau. Both French riders crossed the finish line in 28;19 seconds. Goehrs saddled Vctorio des Frotards (f. Barbarian) for the job, Delaveau took Vestale de Mazure Hdc (f. Landor S) out of her stable. Susan Fitzpatrick closed the top five with Fellox Castlefield (f. Je T'Aime Flamenco). This KWPN stallion is only eight years old, but he already knows how to stand out. He crossed the finish line after 28,25 seconds and left the wood untouched.
