In Falsterbo the Nations Cup is the sportive summum today with Switzerland to kick-off. This morning the international riders completed their two 1.45m classes. Again it was Jur Vrieling who jumped to glory in the saddle of the 9-year-old Holsteiner mare, Acascia (by Diamant de Semillu). Vrieling crossed the finish in 62.67 seconds leavind DEnis Lynch in second. The Irish show jumping rider needed over one second more to guide his 10-year-old Acolord-daughter , RMF Zecilie, through the track. After a finish in 64.41 seconds, Lynch was followed by USA's Chloe Reid and Sally 643 (by Salito). For the home crowd Malin Baryard-Johnsson and the 9-year-old H&M Second Chance (by Carland) placed fourth while former Belgium show jumping champion, Karel Cox and his 12-year-old For Pleasure-son, Flinstone van 't Eigenlo, completed the top five. Finishing clear in 67.95 seconds he stayed ahead of Alison Robitaille (Serise du Bidou) and Shane Sweetnam (Indra van de Oude Heihoef).
