Kevin Staut jumps to individual win in Second GCL Competition of Doha, Shanghai Swans take the lead

In the second competition of the Global Champions League in Doha, the CSI5* 1,55m/1,60m Longines Ranking class, Kevin Staut just seized the victory. The Shanghai Swans are currently leading the team ranking.

Staut sent his ten-year-old Selle Français gelding Viking d'La Rousserie (Quincy) in 72,16 seconds to the first place. Ben Maher followed suit with Explosion W, a Dutch-bred son of Chacco Blue, in 72,33 seconds. Bertram Allen and Harley vd Bisschop (Dulf vd Bisschop) chased after them and finished third in 72,7 seconds. Germany took the fourth spot with Philipp Weishaupt and Che Fantastica (Check In 2). They crossed the finish line in 73,9 seconds, almost half a second faster than Belgium's Niels Bruynseels. He counted on the ten-year-old Toulon-son Delux Van T&L. In the team ranking, the Shanghai Swans of Daniel Deusser (with Calisto Blue) and Pius Schwizer (with Cortney Cox) are in the lead with 0 penalties. Valkenswaard United of Bertram Allen and Frank Schuttert are in second place with 4 penalties, New York Empire holds the third position.
