At the main competition of the international competition Le Touquet, a 1m30 course, it was the British Laura Renwick who triumphed aboard Reine Du Mau (s. Tristan De Quelen). THe pair finished fawless in a time of 54:46 seconds, taking the lead on a French platoon. Gilbert Doer and Quarelie De La Louvet followed in a seconds place ahead of Valerie Rohmer and Perseverance Choisie. French rider Regis Bouguennec and Raven d'Etain (s. For Pleasure) were just not fast enough for the stage. Finishing in 59:78 seconds they ended in the fourth position.
Belgian show jumping rider Christophe VanderHaseelt and Fenom van Kapscheut (s. Querlybet Hero) completed the top five. No less then 29 combinations made the finish without touching the wood and this within the time allowed.
