Ludger Beerbaum returns for Z-Tour today

Ludger Beerbaum, the international German jumping legend who took a bad fall during Jumping Mechelen at the end of last year, is making his comeback today in Lanaken for the Z-Tour. Beerbaum and his Chacco Blue-son Chacon had just finished the course of the Word Cup Qualifier in Mechelen, when Chacon suddenly went for fence number five and jumped it in the wrong direction. Beerbaum lost his balance and fell. The verdict: a multiple open upper arm fracture. After three months of recovery, we can expect to see Beerbaum once again in the arena today at the Z-Tour. He will be starting with Chacon, his top mare Chiara as well as Casello and Cool Down.
