Yannick Jonrad beats Jonna Ekberg in the last second of the Longines Ranking Class Oliva Nova

Yesterday Sweden's Jonna Ekberg won the Longines Ranking class at the final week of the MET Tour in Oliva Nova, Spain. Today Ekberg did hold on the leading spot until the last rider finished his Jump-Off. Switzerland's Yannick Jonrad speeded to victory as last rider in the ring. Aboard Cipetto 2 (f. Contagio) the Swiss show jumping rider was just a tiny bit faster as Ekberg. After a clear finish in 34.48 seconds the pair claimed victory ahead of Sweden's Ekberg and her SF-sire, Univers du Vinnebus (f. Luccianno). Ekberg crossed the finish in 34.55 seconds placing second. Anna-Julia Kontio completed the stage aboard the Landos-son, Lorenzo. Kontio stopped the timer at 35.17 seconds . WIth just a tenth of a second difference, Romain Duguet placed outside the stage in a fourth place with Calder (f. Casall). The top five of this 1.45m class was completed by Gilbert Böckmann and his Pikeur Lord Fauntleroy (f. Lord Pezi).   Click here for the results
