It's Belgian rider Pieter Devos who takes a magical win in the Grand Prix of Bordeaux. This 1m60 5 star competition fell in the hands of the Belgian rider after a seven combination strong jump-off. Together with his twelve year old Dutch bred Apart (by Larin) he rode to a fast time of 35.49 seconds. With nearly one minute he stayed ahead of Bertram Allen and his Izzy by Picobelle a Belgium bred of Cicero Z. They rode to a second place in 36.38 seconds followed closely by Ludger Beerbaum and his 18 year old Chaman (by Baloubet du Rouet). They finished in 36.46 seconds in third place. The top five was then completed by Penelope Leprevost and her Ratina d'la Rousserie (by Quaprice Bois Margot) who ended in fourth place in 38.03 seconds, while Nicola Philippaerts took home the fifth place with his Holstein Chilli Willi.
