The sun is up and people are enjoying themselves with fantastic sports at Equestrian Centre de Peelbergen. Nothing could really make it better for the visitors today, but local rider Mel Thijssen managed to deliver that cherry on to of the cream by winning the Small Tour Final with an amazing round in the jump-off. Thijssen and her KWPN bred Zsa Zsa were diffidently the best in the Carpe Diem Prix that got dominated by the Dutch that took nine out of ten top 10 spots this afternoon. The duo entered the ring as third combination riding the optimal route cutting the corner were possible finishing in the unbeatable time of 37.05 seconds. None could get close to the time Thijssen and her 12 year-old Colander mare set. Lowie Joppen was determined to get very close with Diamond Quick Heto (by Quick Lauro) but finished more then a second later. It however was enough to claim the second prize as he pushed Zoi Snels and I'm Special de Muze, who had a clear round in 38,97 seconds, down to third place. On fourth position it was Pieter Keunen en KWPN mare Dantura (by Canturo). While Belgian Rider Patrick Jonkmans completed the top 5 aboard 8 year-old BWP gelding I Bay van het Langewater (by Wiensender)
