In the 1.35m it was a all Mexican stage with Juan Carlos Alvarez del Castillo B. who just stayed ahead of Gonzalo Azcarraga and Pablo Torres. And todays top 1.45m class it was Andres Azcarraga who took the honors with his 11 year old stallion Al Capone (by Candillo) In a jump-off with 13 riders it was Azcarraga who stayed a head of the pack by more then a secocnd with his Candillo stallion. With a time of 36.56 seconds on the clock he beat fellow countryman Patricio Pasuel and his 13 year old gelding Careyes. Juean Manuel Luzard was close to taking claiming the top spot but had to leave it to the Mexicans. In a fat round with his Hannoverian Quidandro (by Quality) the rider from Uraguay crossed the finish line afte 37.66 seconds and claimed third place. During the 1.35m with jump-off the Danish rider Nikolai Hein Ruus and Cayetana (by Robin II Z) finished in fourth behind the Mexican party.
