Patrice Delaveau takes the first 5*-win in Chantilly

With the beautiful castle of Chantilly in the background the Longines Global Champions Tour has officially kicked-off with today's CSI5* 1.45m course. It looked like Ben Maher was gonna take the win, however it was France's tricolor who got the victory. Aboard Carinjo*HDC, Patrice was about one second faster as Ben Maher and Chaventyno. Third place was for Alexis Borrin and For Felicia. The next CSI5* is scheduled at 5pm, local time. Jumps will be set at a height of 1.50m. For the USA it was Equiline-rider, Lauren Hough who scored the best. Together with the 11-year-old Cornet 39 (by Cornet Obolensky) she finished 17th, setting a clear round in 79.30 seconds.
