Patrik Spits triumphs at own competition

Dochter Patrik SpitsAt his own competition, Belgian rider Patrik Spits, triumphed in today's 1m50-class. Father-in-law Jos Ceulemans made sure for the enthousiasm and entertainment when Patrik Spits and the 11-year-old Comptesse van de Withoeve (s. Sheyenne de Baugy) crosses the finishline in a time of 59:79 seconds, leaving the wood in the spoons. World Champion, Philippe Le Jeune, followed in second place with Loro Piana Boyante de Muze (s. Kashmir vh Schuttershof), after a clear round in 60:02 seconds. The third place was for the Dutch rider Jack Ansem and Zelena (s. Baloubet de Rouet). The top five was completed by Pieter Devos and his Greenfield-horse: Dream of India Greenfield (s. Gem of India).
