The Irish took the lead, with Paul Kennedy and Cartown Danger Mouse (Harlequin du Carel) in the first place with a time of 38,56 seconds. Billy Twomey followed with Kimba Flamenco, a son of Je T'Aime Flamenco. They reached the finish line in 38,65 seconds. Then it was over to the Brits.
