Pius Schwizer rode to victory in this morning-class in Barcelona. From the 28 starters 15 pairs got through to the jump-off. Out of the 15 that qualified for the 1.45m jump-off, it was Swiss Schwizer and Coolgirl who rose to the top with a double clear and a time of 24:46 seconds.
Second place went to fellow Swiss rider Beat Mandli on Callisto when they stopped the timers at 25.13 seconds with no accumulated faults. French Aymeric de Ponnant and Onestar du Mesnil claimed third with double clears and a time of 25.85 seconds.
