Read Laetitia du Couëdic's third blog post from CSI5* Zurich

Swiss rider Laetitia du Couëdic has been blogging about her experience competing at CSI5* Zurich for Equnews.org this weekend. "When i walked the course for Saturday's 1.50m class I was really nervous, it was by far the hardest thing I had ever competed in. The refusal came from a distance error, but I am delighted with my mares behaviour, she showed that she can move past that (the refusal), and that's really reassuring. Kevin Staut (who Laetitia trained with for six months) worked on combinations with me because my mare tends to rush them too much, and now we are focusing on how to take tight corners. I was really disappointed that I missed the Saturday night class, but it was a wonderful experience to participate in the CSI5* in Zurich and I am truly grateful. There was a lack of results, but it has motivated me, I know what I'm missing and what I have to work on. I think it's good to start the season with difficulty as you have no choice but to improve. That is my goal!". A huge thank you to Laetitia for blogging for Equnews. We should have a new exciting blogger for next week. Stay tuned ! Day 1 of Laetitia's blog Day 2 of Laetitia's blog   This blog post was originally written in French for Equnews.fr and was translated by Equnews.com   Photo : Laetitia competing in Saut Hermes - Equnews.fr
