Shane Sweetman takes the win in North Salem

Yesterday the CSI4*-riders still had a 1m50-class to ride in North Salem. It turned out to be a though class, with only four participants in the jump-off. Shane Sweetman and his BWP mare Indra vh Oude Heihoef (v. Casantos) were the fastest, and they won the class in 39,97 seconds. His fellow countryman Lorcan Gallagher, in the saddle of  Hunters Conlypso II (v. Contendro I) was just two hundreds of a second slower, ending up with a second place. For Georgina Bloomberg and Manodie II H (v. Carthago) there was a third place. Andrew Ramsay and Cocq A Doodle (v. Tolan R) finished on a fourth place. They did have the fastest time (37,42 seconds), but one pole came down which cost them the victory. The fifth place was for Leslie Burr-Howard and the BWP gelding Gentille van Spieveld (Heartbreaker). They didn't touch any poles during their round, but they were a bit too slow. A time penalty kept them out of the jump-off. Click here for the results of this class
