In Belgium's Lanaken at the showgrounds of Zangersheide, the Sires of the World Grand Prix just finished with a big win for Jerome Guery. The Belgian rider showed with his Jupiter VG (by Pommeau du Heup), an eight year old Belgium Warmblood, who is boss during this 1m50 course for approved stallions. The combination crossed the finishline in 38.64 seconds. In second place it was Dutch rider Willem Greve and his beautiful grey Carrera (by Larino Cooper). This ten year old Dutch Warmblood finished with 39.85 seconds at the clock. The pair seemed to be getting in trouble at the waterjump in the first round, but they made a quick recovery, taking them all the way to the jump-off. In third place it was then British rider James Billington and his Holstein VDL Cartello (by Cartani) with whom he finished in 42.44 seconds. Completing the top five we find Katharina Offel and her Jk Horsetrucks Leasure Z (by Levisto Z) in fourth place with 42.91 seconds on the clock. Followed by a fifth place from Ferenc Szentirmai and his Usador du Rouet (v. Crusador with whom he finished in 44.96 seconds. Find all results here
