Switzerland colours the first CSI5* win in Lausanne

Today the international CSI5* classes start at the International Longines Horse Show of Lausanne. The five-star riders started their competition with the 1.40m class against the clock. Victory remained for the organizing country, as Claudia Gisler and the 16-year-old KWPN-gelding, Touchable (by Navarone) won the competition, finishing in a time of 61.52 seconds. Former German show jumping champion, Marc Bettinger places as runner-up with the 10-year-old Barino (by Larino). The pair stopped the clock in 62.80 seconds. Belgium's Ignace Philips placed third. Aboard the 8-year-old Dream di San Patrignano (by Come on), Philips crossed the finish in 63.71 seconds. The top five was completed by Timothee Anciaume (Eros) and Mathieu Billot (Shiva d'Amaury) in a fourth and fifth place.
