Thibault Philippaerts speeds to victory in morning class Paris

The first class in Paris was a CSI2* 1m40 class. 55 combinations entered the show ring for this class with separate jump-off. 15 combinations managed to qualify themselves for the jump-off, amongst them also the young Belgian rider Thibault Philippaerts. Thibault is the younger brother of Nicola and Olivier Philippaerts, both 5-star riders. Thibault was one of the last riders to enter the ring for the jump-off, be he immediately went fast as lightening with his 9-year old BWP mare Jaimi van Dorperheid (f. Winningmoord vd Arenberg). They left the wood untouched an finished in 41,24 seconds, which resulted in the first place. The second place went to the French rider Laurent Goffinet. Goffinet and T'intely Lande (f. Opium de Talma) jumped a clear round as well. Their time of 42,19 seconds resulted in a silver medal. The Swedish lady rider Charotte Mordasini ended on third place. With the 9-year old Valentino Tuiliere (f. Diamant de Semilly SF) under the saddle, jumped a clear jump-off in 43,73 seconds. Iolo Mytilineaou (Mon Ame II) and Julie Gonin (Queen) completed the top five. Luciana Diniz qualified for the jump-off with Winningmood (f.
