Venezuela's Barrios Tops The Leaderboard

wo-time Olympian Pablo Barrios of Venezuela, topped the class in the $2,500 1.40m Hallway Feed Speed class at the Split Rock Jumping Tour's(SRJT) fifth annual Lexington International CSI2*, held in Lexington, KY, May 22-26.

Barrios rode Donna Vi, owned by Cavalli Reale Stables, to victory with a perfect clean round in a time of 61.43 second.  Barrios competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics and 2008 Hong Kong Olympics as well as four WEG (2014, 2010, 2006, 1998) and the 2011 World Cup Final,
 giving him the expertise he needed to win.
Second place was awarded to Sandra Dalman and Dorina, owned by Dalman Show Jumping.  The pair  also finished the round without penalty, but their time of 65.98 seconds was not enough to catch Barrios. Chelsea Roche and Astilla, owned by JR Show Stables, won the 1.30 Meter Speed class. Astilla completed the course with no penalties in a time of 55.03, barely edging out Andrew Kocher with Cucata for Eye Candy Jumpers, who turned in a time of 55.65 seconds for second place.
