During the LONGINES Global Champions Tour in London, the CSI5* 1.45m, Table A against the clock, was on the program. With a strong field of competitors and only 72 seconds allowed, it promised to be a fast and faultless battle. In the end, hundredths of a second determined the top placings, while several Belgian combinations also made a strong impression.
The victory went to Jörne Sprehe with the Hanoverian Toys (Toulon). The German pair stayed clear and stopped the clock at a blazing 53.09 seconds—just faster than Israel’s Yali Kass with Luna van ’t Ruytershof Z (For Pleasure), who crossed the finish in 53.22 seconds.
Third place went to Katharina Rhomberg (AUT) with Colestus Cambridge (Colestus) in 54.57 seconds, also without penalties. The British crowd enjoyed a home triumph thanks to John Whitaker, who took fourth with Sharid in 54.81 seconds. Maximilian Weishaupt completed the top five aboard Kokomo B (Kannan) in 55.41 seconds.
