The construction of the new stables is in full swing. Just last month, they said goodbye to their Grand Prix horse, Luna van 't Ruytershof... and now the Philippaerts family has announced the sale of Palousy vh Exelhof (breeder: Exelhof). "Palousy is starting a new chapter! We wish the mare all the best and have high hopes for the future!"
The 10-year-old daughter of Cornet Obolensky was trained internationally by the family patriarch, Ludo Philippaerts. After a period with Thibault Philippaerts and team rider Jenny Krogsaeter (NOR), Olivier Philippaerts took over the reins earlier this year.
Olivier recently caught attention with the mare during the Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais in Paris. Earlier this year, the pair also won a 1.45m class in Oliva. It is not yet known who will take over the reins.
